This policy covers how My Chauffeur Wine Tours (referred to as My Chauffeur hereafter) treats personal information that My Chauffeur collects and receives, including information related to your past use of My Chauffeur services.  Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available.

My Chauffeur collects personal information when you register with My Chauffeur, such as with personal or business accounts, or when you contact us to make a reservation for our services.

When you register we ask for information such as your name, address, email address, and contact phone numbers. We typically also ask you for your credit card information, along with your billing address.  Once you register with My Chauffeur and sign up to our services, you are not anonymous to us.

My Chauffeur uses information for the following general purposes: fulfill your requests for services, customer convenience, improve our services, and to contact you.

My Chauffeur does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies under any circumstances:

	We provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with My Chauffeur under confidentiality agreements. These companies may use your personal information to fulfill their obligations to services requested by you through My Chauffeur, and for no other purposes.  These companies do not have any independent right to share this information.
	We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
	We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of My Chauffeur’s terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
	We transfer information about you if My Chauffeur is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, My Chauffeur will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

My Chauffeur occasionally displays targeted 'advertisements' based on personal information, such as advertising mailers, thank you notes, newsletters or discount coupons.  Whenever you receive a targeted 'advertisement', you always presented with the option to un-subscribe from all targeted 'advertisements'.  Our thank you notes are typically one-time events after your 1st use of our services, in which an un-subscribe option is not necessary.

You can edit your My Chauffeur Account Information at any time.

We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the My Chauffeur service, such as service announcements, administrative messages and the My Chauffeur Events Newsletter, that are considered part of you’re My Chauffeur account, without offering you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving them.  Our marketing is, however, minimal, and only from time to time.  The Events Newsletter and related offerings are on an opt-in basis.

We limit access to personal information about you to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide services to you or in order to do their jobs.  This information is on a strict “need to know” basis.

We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect personal information about you.

All information gathered on the site is stored and maintained in secure facilities that limit access to authorized personnel only. The My Chauffeur web sites are regularly tested for security breaches to ensure that all information collected is secure from unauthorized viewing. Personal information on our customers is protected in transit via HTTPS and SSL security. Credit card information has multiple layers of security, including off-line storage and SSL in transit.

To the best of our knowledge, My Chauffeur has never had a security breach.

If we make a material (non-editorial) change to our privacy policy, we will post a notice on our site so our users are aware of the change. If we make a significant change to the way we use, treat or disclose personal information, we will notify users by email.

My Chauffeur will keep personal information of its customers for as long as they are registered subscribers or users of our services, and for a reasonable time thereafter.
